Pickup Requirements and Recommendations
To ensure your pickup is handled efficiently and safely, please carefully review the following requirements:
Advance Scheduling
It is mandatory to contact our team 72 hours before arriving to pick up your order. This allows us to organize your products, confirm availability, and minimize wait times upon your arrival.
You can reach our warehouse team at the phone number provided to schedule your pickup.
Product Weight and Handling
Please be aware that our steel doors are extremely heavy.
The lightest door set weighs approximately 400 lbs, and larger door sets, such as double doors, may exceed 800 lbs, often divided into multiple crates or packages.
It is essential to have a suitable vehicle capable of safely transporting both the weight and dimensions of your order. This includes considering trailer capacity, truck bed dimensions, and legal transportation requirements.
Securing Materials
Customers must bring all necessary materials to properly secure and protect the product during transportation.
Recommended materials include:
Heavy-duty straps or tie-downs
Padding or blankets to prevent damage
Corner protectors, foam sheets, or other cushioning as needed
Inspection Prior to Pickup
We recommend inspecting your order at the warehouse before loading to ensure all items are correct and in good condition.
Once the order has been collected and leaves our facility, Texas Glass Door is no longer responsible for any damage or loss that may occur during transportation.
Important Reminders
Improper preparation or failure to bring the necessary manpower and equipment may result in delays or the inability to load your order.
Texas Glass Door reserves the right to refuse release of the product if proper safety precautions are not in place at the time of pickup.
